Role model: "My role model is my mom because of the way she raised me, everything I do in life is pretty much based upon the things she taught me."
Best sports memory: " Winning the League Championship last year against Mission High School because we were underestimated a lot the entire season and then we came out winning league and going undefeated and making it to the finals, but we lost in the finals."
On the first time he knew he was good enough to play at the next level: "I was at the gym with all my friends and Coach Lubick called me and offered me a scholarship while I was still at the gym, and I ended up running around the whole entire gym screaming, just running around all excited."
On moving to ASU and being on his own: "I'm real excited to be out there in Tempe and get everything ready. It's going to be different living by myself and with a roommate its going to be hard to adapt to, but I'm defiantly excited to do it, can't wait."
Why ASU: "I felt more comfortable when I was out there on my visit there compared to any other schools, it's the best fit for me and the whole entire ASU coach staff made me feel ext comfortable and I already knew a couple of the players out there and I got to know a couple more. So I just felt more comfortable more then anything else.
On his goals for his freshman season: "Hopefully compete for a starting position and hopefully see some play time on the field. Really more then anything compete and get ready.
On his signing day plans: " Signing day is going to be busy because finals. So pretty much sign, go to class, and take a couple tests!"
