Best sports memory: "This year when we beat the No. 1 team in the state. They were up 20-18 and we had 15 seconds left and our running back ran it back to the 20 and then we kicked a field goal and won."
First time he knew he was good: "Sophomore year out here in Vegas. I played in California my freshman year but my sophomore year I went against a lot of seniors and did good against them and knew that I was going to be good if I kept working hard."
On eventually moving to Arizona: "I think I'm going to like the college life. The weather will be the same. I don't really know what to expect, just looking forward to it."
On his decision to attend ASU: "It's a feeling I felt. Coach Erickson is great, some of my old teammates from California play there already too. Coach 'E' won a national championship and I want to win one with him."
On his goals for the coming year: "I'm going to try to get qualified, which I will! And ASU-wise I want to start all over again, pay attention to every class, get straight 'A's' and try to go to the NFL."
On his signing day plans: "We're going to have a lot of media over here and after that me and my buddies are going to celebrate and eat a big dinner. Real big."
