Best sports memory: "Last year when we won in the playoffs in the final minute against Arvada West. Down 21-7 at half we came back to tie and we got ball with two minutes left on our 20 yard line, drove down and kicked a field goal to win. And our kicker was a girl."
First time he knew he was good: "Probably the summer going into junior year. I just felt I was getting a lot better, if I could keep getting better like I was I could play college. Everything was starting to click."
On eventually moving to Arizona: "I can't wait. I'm so excited to go to Arizona, new place, meet new people. Can't stop thinking about it. The whole atmosphere there I love."
On his decision to attend ASU: "It was because of the coaches. Coach Erickson has been involved with my family forever. We know him and trust him a lot."
On his goals for the coming year: "I just want to get out there and do what I can. Get in the weight room get bigger, help the team out however I can, scout team or whatever. I'm not expecting to play so that's not on my list. I want to get the system down and get ready to compete."
On his signing day plans: "We're actually having a signing thing at 2 pm tomorrow; a press conference. I'll probably send it in earlier. We have a basketball game tomorrow night so that'll be right after the ceremony."
