The speed and depth at wide receiver have never been more evident in Todd Graham's Tempe tenure as this season. And with the addition of the Las Vegas Bishop Gorman standout, this group will be anything but flat-footed in 2018.
Considering the fact that the ASU wide receiver unit is scheduled to return intact in 2018, speaks volumes as to the pursuit of Nailor. In 2016 Nailor paced the best high school program in the nation then with 929 receiving yards on 51 catches and scored 14 touchdowns. According to recruiting analyst William Levi, Nailor is an effective playmaker with good route running skills and impressive acceleration. With great long-range speed, he has the ability to make plays downfield while being a dangerous player on swing routes and slants.
Nailor, who was offered by Arizona State on May 5th of this year, has an impressive offer list which includes Utah, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Colorado, Arizona, Washington State among others. At ASU, he will join his former Gaels teammate and current Sun Devil cornerback, Alex Perry. Nailor is the ninth commit in ASU’s 2018 recruiting class and the first wide receiver pledge of this group.
