Morgan to headline key visit weekend at ASU
An important official visit weekend featuring numerous high priority uncommitted prospects and headlined by Rivals100 recruit D.J. Morgan will be on tap for Arizona State as it hosts the annual Duel in the Desert with rivals University of Arizona Saturday.
Morgan, 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, is the No. 3 all-purpose back in the country by Rivals.com and No. 63 prospect nationally in the class.

The Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft star has been committed to USC since September of 2008, but visited Arizona State unofficially in August along with brother Josh Morgan, who is currently finishing school at Pasadena City College.
"I'm looking forward to the trip," D.J. Morgan said. "I liked what I saw when I was there this summer and I want to go back and check out the rivalry game there and see what that's all about and just get a better feel for what it's like when school is going on and there is a game there."
Morgan , who has rushed for a Taft record 71 career touchdowns, said that he remains committed to USC, but could also take additional recruiting trips beyond ASU, specifically mentioning Cal as a school he's had some dialogue with.
Josh, who rushed for over 1,000 yards at Pasadena in 2008, is not playing football at the school this season as he works to finish his degree. He could finish his coursework as soon as December, according to the younger Morgan, but he does not have any scholarship offers as yet.
D.J. said he was hurt in a playoff win Friday and is expected to have results from an MRI test Tuesday. He will not play in his team's game this week against Dorsey, in the C.I.F. City Section quarterfinals.
"I went to make a cut I've made a million times in my career and it kind of gave out on me," he said. "I hyper-extended it. They don't think there is any serious injury, just a hyperextension but we'll find out for sure tomorrow."
An older brother, Chris Morgan ran track at ASU for a year-and-a-half in the early 2000s but left the school due to academic issues. D.J. and Josh Morgan are both track athletes as well, with D.J. considered to be among the top hurdlers in California.
