On his decision to attend ASU: I liked everything about ASU. I liked coach Koetter's coaching style and they really made me feel at home and that's why I committed to them. When the new staff came in, at first I talked to coach Yarbs and coach Erickson and they seemed pretty cool. But when I met with them in person they really kept it real with me and they told me what was going to happen. They weren't giving me a bunch of crap or anything like that. I liked that a lot."

On his goals for the coming year: "I just want to learn the system, build myself up, hopefully get into the rotation so I could get the feel for things and go from there."

On his signing day plans: "We're having a signing day thing at my school, a little media thing and then probably that weekend I'm going to go out to dinner with my family."
