5 Star Stays True

5-Star WR N'Keal Harry decided to stay true to ASU on Monday, announcing his verbal commitment to the Sun Devils over Texas A&M, Washington, Oregon and USC.
Harry received his first offer from Arizona State in October of his junior year. After attending a Rivals Camp Series event in Las Vegas in late February, Harry earned a fifth star, and saw his recruiting increase dramatically. Along with Byron Murphy, Harry earned an invite to the Rivals 5-Star Challenge, and ultimately took official visits to Washington and Texas A&M with Murphy at his side.

N'Keal Harry did unofficially visit ASU in early August with teammate Chase Lucas, and said of Todd Graham afterward, "I like the way he runs the program, and his morals. He talked about character, team bonding and having that good attitude- my grandma and I both loved it, and we're definitely thinking ASU."
Harry visited ASU again with his grandmother last week before announcing that he'd be making his final decision on Monday, November 2nd. Harry attended ASU's triple overtime loss to Oregon, and told Rivals recruiting analyst Blair Angulo afterward that once he commits, he'd leave it up to the coaches to see whether he'd take any other official visits. He was forced to miss an official visit to Oregon State due to an ankle injury, and had previously scheduled a visit to Oregon on November 27th.
The commitment makes N'Keal Harry Arizona State's highest-ever rated recruit, and breaks a three-year streak of the state's top rated recruits ultimately ending up at Texas A&M.

Arizona State now has 12 players committed for the 2016 recruiting class, and this makes the second from the state of Arizona (Marshal Nathe). Harry joins Jared Bubak, Kyle Williams and Jeremy Smith as likely pass-catching recruits for this cycle.
