RB visits AU, Tigers return favor

Wooddale four-star running back Jovon Robinson traveled from his hometown of Memphis, Tenn. to Auburn last weekend for an official visit.

Two days after leaving the Plains, a pair of Auburn coaches, including Gene Chizik, traveled to Memphis to visit Robinson.

Trooper Taylor, who is recruiting the running back to Auburn, and Chizik made an in-home visit with Robinson, his mother, brother and sister.

"It went real good, real good," said Robinson. "For me, it was just more confirmation that Auburn is the place for me. For my mother, it was a good chance for her to really sit down with them and just talk, get to know them better."

"She knows why I'm comfortable with my decision because she was comfortable with the coaches and all that they talked about."
