Wednesday Practice Report

The Alabama Crimson Tide continued its preparation for its Iron Bowl showdown with Auburn with a full pad practice at Thomas-Drew Practice Facility on Wednesday. Here are a few notes from the media viewing period from BamaOnLine.com.

*** Rashad Johnson wore a cowboy collar on his shoulder pads on Wednesday. A cowboy collar is used to protect the neck from hyper extending. No injury has been reported on Johnson.

***Tyler Love(stress fracture) and Barrett Jones(shoulder) continued to work in black on Wednesday. The Crimson Tide are very healthy for any team this late in the season with Jones and Love being the only two players in black jerseys.

***Roy Upchurch and Earl Alexander continued to work in white jerseys on Wednesday. Both players missed the Tide's victory over Mississippi State last week, but seem to be ready for the Tigers this Saturday.

***Scout Team Update: There were no changes on the scout team on Wednesday. Ivan Matchett continues to wear number 44 for Auburn's Ben Tate and Demetrius Goode is still wearing number 1 representing Brad Lester.
