It was recently a very rare occurrence for highly-touted high school prospect to take a close look at the Duke football program. The commitments of Desmond Scott and John Drew from the Class of 2009 signal that is changing, and now one of Florida's top junior offensive lineman plans on checking Duke out.

Brent Benedict, a 6-foot-5, 278-pound offensive tackle from Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles has received about ten offers thus far and the scholarships should keep coming in as the process drags on. Benedict's father spoke with DevilsIllustrated.com about his son's interest in Duke, among other things.
