Sooners back to business
The Oklahoma Sooners were back on the practice fields after players were given spring break off. The Sooners were joined, as planned, by standouts Jermaine Gresham and Alonzo Dotson who had not been able to participate in the first five practices due to minor surgeries over the offseason.
"They looked good," said Stoops of the pair. "Jermaine made a couple of nice big plays and he looks great."
Stoops wasn't completely happy with the Sooners' first scrimmage of the spring and with so much time off, players could have had a tendency to slowly work their way back into the swing of things.
But that wasn't the case as the coaches put the players through a full-pad workout on Tuesday.
"Guys worked well and was pleased with it," said Stoops. "We got a lot done. I feel the guys realize there's a lot of work to be done and a lot of improvements to be made individually and even groupwise. They're working in a good way."
With their first action since the scrimmage, there hasn't been any major moves by one quarterback over the other.
