January 30, 2010 - Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center was the site of classic BIG EAST Conference action yesterday, with Georgetown traveling north to battle Villanova. Well over 20,000 observers were not disappointed, as the Hoyas prevailed 69-66 in dramatic fashion. In the end, Coach John Thompson III team displayed toughness and skill while leaning heavily on senior guard Austin Freeman.
